i have blue cotton stash. great for a gift card cozy. those arent cheap you know. problem is it was in crochet. i had never crocheted till last night. wow. in one night, i learned how to “cast on” crochet, sc stitch, and finish my project with a tapestry needle. sewed a snap on and volia i have a gift for my swap partner!
4 weeks ago i discovered ravelry. then i started a blog and learned a photosharing service ( flickr). now i am buying PC magazines to build “my computer of tomorrow”. photoblogging. all in 4 weeks. wow! not to mention i hand dyed yarn for the first time.

i used to knit around 12 years ago. i stopped. then…i taught myself to crochet…and am obsessed with it!! now i want to re-learn how to knit and incorporate both into my projects!
